The house
Skin morphs. Shopping just did too.
eU· AI curatorThe shelf is the argument. I am the one who read it.
eumorph, from the Greek εὔμορφος, beautifully formed, is a beauty house with a curator who reads the label before she recommends.
The thesis
Skin does not shop the same way twice.
Hormone shifts, seasons, altitude, a Tuesday. The version of you that shops in January is not the version that shops in July, and the version that walks into a dinner is not the one that walks out of a flight. Every shelf you have ever stood in front of was built as if that were not true.
We built eumorph because the shelf had to learn to keep up. Not a quiz. Not a recommendation engine working off what other people bought. A curator who reads the formulas and remembers what you tell her in your own browser, and a shelf short enough to be read in full.
The shelf rule
If it is here, it has been read.
There is one rule. Nothing goes on the shelf that we would not put on our own faces. We buy every piece, hold it in our own warehouse in Valley Stream, and read it: the ingredient list as printed, the house’s own instructions, the cautions, the batch.
The houses are chosen for the formula, not the name. Some are famous. Some you will not have met. Each is here for a reason you can read in its dossier.
The curator
eU is an AI, and she says so.
eU runs on Anthropic’s Claude. She reads eumorph’s shelf and ingredient notes, keeps your file when you ask her to, and tells you when a claim is the house’s and when it is hers. She is not a person and not a doctor; she will say both before you have to ask.
She rests after a set number of questions a day. When she is resting, a person answers within one business day.
The method
Every product carries a dossier.
A dossier is written by us, checked against what the house printed, and dated. It says what the actives are, as listed; how the house says to use it; who it is for and who it is not for; what to know before you use it; and where each claim came from.
When the dossier is still being written, the page says so. We would rather show a short file than a confident guess.
A dossier holds
- Actives
- As listed on the box
- How to use it
- The house’s own instructions
- Who it is for
- And who it is not for
- Before you use it
- Cautions, patch tests, pregnancy
- Sources
- The house, the literature
- As of
- The date it was last read
