Before you use it
Rarely used alone — almost always a stabilizer/synergist in vitamin C serums. The classic C+E+Ferulic formula (popularized by SkinCeuticals) is well-supported in literature.
On the label
Listed as "ferulic acid" in INCI. Nearly always in the first half of a vitamin C serum alongside "ascorbic acid" and "tocopherol". A formula that names all three follows the gold-standard combination.
